[JAN - MAR] Adult Improv - Say Yes to Fun & Fearless Creativity! | Mondays 6:45 -8:15 pm) | 10 Weeks
Overview
Always wanted to try improv but felt a little intimidated? This class is for you. Our Adult Improv course is designed specifically for beginners — the curious, the shy, the nervous, and the “I’ve-never-done-this-before” crowd. No scripts, no pressure, and absolutely no experience needed. Just a willingness to laugh, play, and surprise yourself.
What You’ll Learn
Over the course of the program, you will:
- Practice simple improv exercises that ease you in gently
- Learn how to think on your feet, collaborate, and say “yes—and”
- Build confidence in speaking, spontaneity, and creative expression
- Strengthen skills like communication, listening, and adaptability
- Play fun, low-stakes games that spark joy and connection
Why It Matters
Improv is scientifically proven to reduce stress, increase resilience, and improve social confidence. It teaches you to listen deeply, trust your instincts, and find humor in the unexpected. Many students report feeling more confident at work, more open socially, and more grounded in daily life.
Most importantly, improv reminds you how to play, something adults don’t get nearly enough of.
What to Expect
- A welcoming, no-judgment zone
- Lots of laughter — at the scenes, the surprises, and yourself
- Supportive classmates who are just as nervous (and excited) as you
- Exercises that meet you exactly where you are, at any skill level
- An instructor who knows how to keep things fun, safe, and encouraging
You’ll leave every class feeling lighter, braver, and proud of yourself for stepping out of your comfort zone.
