[JAN - MAR] Adult Painting - Create, Destress, Have Fun! | Tuesdays 6:30 - 8pm | 9 Weeks
Who It’s For
Perfect for adults looking for a meaningful weekly break to unwind and reconnect with their creative side. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning after years away, this class offers a calm, encouraging space to explore painting at your own pace.
What You’ll Learn
Over the course, students will:
- Build confidence with acrylic painting techniques including blending, layering, and color mixing
- Explore subjects such as still life, florals, abstract compositions, or personal themes
- Learn how to use composition, value, and color harmony to create balanced artwork
- Receive individualized instruction suited to their current comfort level
- Enjoy a relaxed studio environment focused on creativity, not perfection
Why It Matters
Painting offers a rare opportunity for focus, reflection, and creative expression — things many adults find hard to carve out time for. The process encourages mindfulness, nurtures curiosity, and supports a sense of accomplishment. As students develop new skills, they often rediscover the joy of creating something with their own hands.
